History:

The first Dallas Oktoberfest Tournament was hosted in 2009. Eric Anderson started the first tournament, which had only eight two-player teams. The tournament changed to a six-player team format in 2012, after Eric went to the 2011 World Championship (Rone, Gotland, Sweden) and wanted to introduce people to six-player kubb. The 2012 Dallas Oktoberfest tournament had 12 teams. Before starting the tournament, Eric and Erin went to the Dallas Oktoberfest in 2007 to introduce people to the game.
